The Merchant’s Oath: Returns & Exchanges

This policy outlines how orders from Chaotic Studios are prepared, shipped, and — when necessary — returned.

1. Order Processing

All items are crafted, packed, and shipped by hand from our studio in Ontario, Canada.
Processing time: within five (5) business days of confirmed payment.
Custom orders or large batches may require additional time; any delay will be communicated directly.

2. Shipping Methods

We use Canada Post and Chit Chats for domestic and international orders.
Delivery estimates depend on destination and carrier but typically range from:

  • Canada: 3–7 business days

  • USA: 7–14 business days

  • UK/EU: 10–21 business days

Tracking numbers will be provided whenever possible.

3. International Duties & Taxes

International customers are responsible for all import duties, customs fees, or taxes charged by their local governments. We cannot mark packages as gifts or undervalue items for customs purposes.

4. Lost or Damaged Packages

Once your parcel leaves our studio, it is under the care of the shipping provider.
We are not liable for lost, delayed, or damaged packages. Customers must contact the carrier directly for claims.

5. Returns & Exchanges

We accept returns for non-custom items under the following conditions:

  • You must contact us within seven (7) days of delivery.

  • Items must be unused and returned in their original packaging.

  • Once inspected and approved, we will issue a refund or exchange.

  • Shipping costs are non-refundable.

6. Custom Orders

All custom, personalized, or made-to-order items are final sale.
A digital proof will be provided before production; once approved, no refund or alteration is possible.

7. Refunds

Refunds are processed to the original payment method once the returned item is received and verified. Please allow up to 10 business days for your financial institution to process the transaction.

8. Exchanges

We can exchange eligible items for another of equal or lesser value, pending stock availability. Customer is responsible for return and re-shipment costs.

9. Non-Returnable Items

We cannot accept returns for:

  • Digital downloads or media

  • Gift cards

  • Sale or clearance items

  • Custom-made or commissioned goods
